dc.description.abstractHealth is the main capital for every human being to be able to run activities in everyday life both in the family surroundings and (domestic) and outside the family surroundings activities (public). This research entitled "Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS) of Family in Pulau Padang Village, Singingi Sub-district Kuantan Singingi Regency". The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of clean and healthy life behavior (PHBS) in the family in Pulau Padang Village and to know the factors that influence the implementation of clean and healthy life behavior (PHBS) in it. The research method is quantitative, with simple random sampling (random sampling). Public health behavior in Pulau Padang Village is predominantly achieve middle-level health, although some of them are reaching healthy and full healthy level. However, the number of families who have reached two levels is not maximized. The results shows that the most of the study respondents has clean and healthy life behavior in middle category. Several factors that are considered to have an effect on public health behavior in Pulau Padang Village, Singingi Subdistrict, among others, because the level of knowledge of some people who are still relatively low, as well as the low income, the work that is generally done by the community is still related belong to nature, become hereditary behavior.en_US
