dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to determine winning strategies and Firdaus Cahyadi the Voting Section Birthday in the General Election of Pekanbaru Year 2011 and the factors that influence mate Firdaus and verse victory Cahyadi on Voting Re. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method describes a problem with the restrictions detailed, data retrieval is true and accurate and include various sources of reliable information. The results showed that while voters chase strategy is the strategy adopted by a pair of PAS, because the city of Pekanbaru's Election PAS family greatly benefited by the growing issues in the community, where opponents of the pair Firdaus Cahyadi and Section (PAS) is Septina, the wife of a Governor Rusli Zainal and that this creates a negative opinion in the community. In society it is a matter for the development of the course can lead to collusion. and also in a different perspective, a lot of people who do not like the leadership of Riau Governor Rusli Zainal as much involved in corruption cases in Riau.
