dc.description.abstractThis research is intended to find out the composition and diversity of Soil Micro Arthropods toward the phytoremediation of palm factory wastewater by used Typha angustifolia plant and the used of research finding as a learning source. This research was conducted in Laboratory Biology Education Riau University from July to December 2012. The model of this research is Constructed Treatment Wetland (CTW) in type of Free Water Surface (FWS), forward palm factory wastewater dischanged in each basin. The measured parameters are composition and diversity of soil Micro Arthropods and the soil physical and chemical factors including organic contents, pH and soil temperature. The research finding was analyzed descriptively as a learning source in subject of biodiversity. The research finding shows that there is improvement of the composition and diversity of soil Mikro Arthropods on the phytoremediation of wastewater. The research finding can be used as a teaching material in students exercise.en_US
