dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted on 2 February to 8 February 2013 in the District of estuary Indragiri regency, Riau Province. This study aimed to determine the distribution of the operating area and gillnet fishing gear can point spread formations gillnet fishing areas in the District of estuary Indragiri regency, Riau Province. The method used in this study is a survey method is by directly observing the drift gill net fishing gear by using GPS as the determination of the location and ArcView GIS 3.3 for analyzing and visualizing the data in the district of estuary Indragiri. From the comparison of the point spread gillnet fishing areas there are different fishing areas and fishing every day in the District of estuary Indragiri comply arrest pathways that have been set by the government.en_US
