Abstract
The problem in this study was found on the lesson IPS that the learning outcomes students who do not meet the passing grade KKM 66 is noted for 21 persons (60%). This condition because teachers has used a learning model but has not implemented yet to the maximum. This study aims to improve learning outcomes social studies lesson on fourth grade students of Elementary School 94 Pekanbaru through the implementation of cooperative learning model with jigsaw type by using class action study. To make the study of class action research succeeds. Based on the study results, it could be concluded that the application Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model improve learning Result Learn of social studies lesson on the fourth grade students of Elementary School 94 Pekanbaru 94 Pekanbaru. The results data analysis can be seen from the activities teachers during the learning process on the first cycle with an mean of 70.84% a good category. While on the second cycle, the learning outcomes social studies lesson increased to 91.67% very good category. Activities the students during the learning process in the first cycle with an mean 66.67% good category. While on the second cycle it increased to 89.58% very good category. The class completenes on the basic score 40.00% the mean learning outcomes 64.14. Whilst class completeness after action 88.57% the mean learning outcome is 86.86. So, it may be concluded that the using cooperate learning of Jigsaw model could increase the abilit
