dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research to describe the effectiveness of using a simple alternative media in terms of student’s process skills in matery of light. These subjects are students of class VIII-2 as a control class VIII-3 class as an experimental class in Bukit Raya Pekanbaru MTsN school year 2012/2013, amounting to 82 students. This research data collection instruments is a process skills achievement test. Collecting data in this study conducted at the end of the learning process by making the test process skills. Results obtained by the process of learning the skills of process skills tests showed no significant differences between the experimental class that uses a simple alternative media with the control class using standard media. Based on the results of the test process skills, then learning to use a simple alternative media effective to be applied to the matery of light.en_US
