dc.description.abstract Green flies are a type of intruding insect and one of the main vectors in the spread of various types of diseases such as diarrhea, dysentery, cholera, typhus, and digestive tract diseases. The spread of disease by flies can occur through direct contact with food and drink where the body of the fly such as the feet, mouth and wings have attached the germs that it carries from dirty places, therefore it is necessary to control the fly population. One way is to use a natural insecticide made from pandanus scented leaf powder as a repellent against green fly control. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of pandanus fragrant leaf powder as a repellent against the green fly vector. This type of research is an experimental (True Experimental) using a completely randomized design research design (CRD). The object of this study is the green flies in the chicken slaughterhouse, with a sample of 240 green flies. Data collection method is by counting the number of flies that come out of small cages into large cages after being given treatment. Data analysis was performed with the Kolmograv-Smirnov normality analysis and variance test using the One Way ANOVA test. The results of the study using leaf fragrant pandanus powder with various concentrations of 1gram, 2 gram, 3 gram, 4 gram, 5 gram, and the experiment was carried out in 4 repetitions for 60 minutes, the results of the fly flies were 12, 16, 23, 32 tails, 37 tails, and the results of the test with one way anova known p = 0.001 <0.05, which means that pandanus fragrant leaf powder is effective as a rapellent against the green fly vector. Of the 5 concentrations tested, the concentration of 5 grams of fragrant pandan leaf powder (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb) was the most effective concentration as a repellent for the green fly. en_US
