Penerapan Pendekatan Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik (PMR) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas IIC SD Negeri 001 Bukitraya Pekanbaru Neli Natalya. S ¹, Syahrilfuddin ², Zariul Antosa ³ Abstract The background of the problem in this study is that students do not understand the material that is given teacher. This is because teachers teach only use the lecture method and less use of props, a teacher resource center to become less active and less students are given the opportunity to express their opinion. For it is necessary to study learning approach of Realistic Mathematics Learning (PMR). In the approach of Realistic Mathematics Learning (PMR) emphasized the importance of students' real context is known and the construction of mathematical knowledge by the students themselves. With the presentation of mathematical material submitted in accordance with the intellectual development of students and associate mathematics instructional materials in accordance with the reality around, it can help student easy to understand mathematical concepts being taught and make learning math more meaningful for students. The study is in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes elementary school classroom IIC 001 Bukitraya Pekanbaru on integer multiplication material. With the formulation of the problem "Is the application of Realistic Mathematics Learning approach (PMR) can improve the learning outcomes of students in mathematical integer multiplication material? '. Quantitative data in the form of testing students' knowledge and understanding through the cycle repeats. The results of this study showed that the mean value of the first cycle repeats students increased 12.05 points (26.22%) of the students to the basic score 59.38. In the second cycle rose 31.25 points (52.63%) of the first cycle to 90.63. This means that the application of the approach of Realistic Mathematics Learning (PMR) can improve the learning outcomes of students grade math IIC Elementary School 001 Bukitraya Pekanbaru.
