Abstract
Implementation of Economic Democracy in Dumai City in order to alleviate poverty and improve the
welfare of the community, among others develop and strengthen the ability of poor people to improve
their living standards by opening employment opportunities, business opportunities, educational
opportunities and increased service a variety of needs. Thus the program is worth continuing for
Economic Democracy as perceived very useful for the community. Economic Democracy program for
poverty reduction will be run effectively if all infrastructure owned by the City of Dumai able to carry out
their duties with passion more responsive, faster, better, and closer than what has been done so far.
