Abstract:
ZnO nanotube growth onto Florine Tin Oxide (FTO) was successfully carried out by
the hydrothermal method. The effect of annealing temperature was evaluated using
several methods : Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) and Energy
Dispersive X-Ray (EDX). The FESEM images showed ZnO nanotubes with a slighty
different size of diameter grown on the substrate. The EDX study confirmed the
presence of Zn shown by the three peaks of 1 keV, 8.60 keV, and 9.60 keV, while the
presence of B was confirmed by the peak of 0.16 keV. The EDX also informed
physically quantified percentage of Zn and O are representiedly the weight percentage
of 71.22 % and 3.72 % and atomic percentage of 35.40 % and 11.18 %.
