Abstract
This study is about the diversity of media education on junior high school students to learned basic
concepts in chemistry. Uses the web-based software will be easier to understand abstract concepts with
visual graphics that can enhance students’ understanding of learning and motivation in understanding
the chemistry, particularly concerning the concept of atomic structure. Development of an online chemistry
study using a design ADDIE is integrated with kristof and Satran model,was involved the design phase
of information, interaction design and interface design. The theory used in this study is kognitivis and
constructivist learning theory to the media. The tutorial approach is applied to the flexible and active
learning strategies. Formative assessment has been involved a multimedia specialist theories of Universiti
Kebangsaan Malaysia lecturer; and a summative evaluation has been involved IT specialists and science
teachers too. The aim of this study is to developing computer assisted learning software based on web
pages that enable students to understand the basic concepts of chemistry. This study sample was 20
students of the Indonesia-Kuala Lumpur School (SIK) and 20 students of the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri
(MAN) Tasik-Indonesia. Quantitative method with SPSS analysis has been used to determine the percentage
of SPSS, Mean and Standard Deviation. The findings of this study showed that on average score higher
ratings than all of this research question. Based on the theories, approaches and learning strategies can
be based on the construction site has shown the understanding of high performance on each item that the
learning objectives, which are expected to review this site can be a source of reference for the study
subjects for secondary school students.
