Penerapan Strategi Pembelajaran Bola Pantai (Beach Ball) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Pokok Sistem Koloid Di Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru

Abstract

Research on the application of learning strategies beach ball has been carried out to determine the increase in student achievement on the subject of the colloidal system in class XI Science SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. form of research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. time data collection begins from the date of May 14 to 29 2013. sample consisted of two classes, namely class XI science 3 as the experimental class and the class XI science 5 as control class is randomly selected after the homogeneity test. experimental class is a class that is treated by applying learning strategies beach ball, while the control class is treated to a lecture and discussion methods usual. data analysis techniques is used by t-test. based on final data processing results using t-test formula obtained t hitung > ttable (3.06> 1.994) it means the application of learning strategies beach ball to improve student achievement on the subject of colloidal systems in class XI Science SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. Size of category increase student achievement on experiments class is supported with the normalized gain scores (N-gain) of 0.777 is high category.
