Abstract

PENERAPAN METODE EKSPERIMEN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V SDN 010 PASIR JAMBU KECAMATAN RUMBIO JAYA Oleh Ardi Salam1, Mahmud Alpusari2, Otang Kurniaman3 Abstract The problem that found at student grade V SDN 010 Pasir Jambu is the result of low student lerning science. It causes students’s interesting in learning science is low because of teacher’s method is not appropriate. The aim of the research is to increase the result of student’s learning science at grade V SDN 010 Pasir Jambu Rumbio Jaya District on year 2010/2011 through “ Implementation of eksperiment method”. The formulation of the problem” is the usege eksperiment method can increase the result of student’s learning science at grade V SDN 010 Pasir Jambu Rumbio Jaya District. The research done on January until February 2010. The subject of the research is the student grade V SDN 010 Pasir Jambu Rumbio Jaya District that consist of 20 students, 10 male and 10 famale. This research is colaborative classroom action research (Science teacher and resecher) that consist of two sycles. The first cycle conducted two meetings and the second cycle conducted two meetings. The pharameter of research is the result of student’s learning after the action each cycle (excercise I and Excercise II). The instrument is learning tools ( sylabus, lesson plan, worksheet,pieces of paper tes), observation sheet of student and teacher activities in learning process. The data analysist is deskriptive. The result of data shows the increasing result of student’s learning, in which before eksperiment action, 6 students got high or equal skor with Mastery Criterion Minimal (KKM) while 14 students got low skor. After implemated eksperiment method in the first cycle, 16 students got high or equal skor with Mastery Criterion Minimal (KKM), on the second cycle, 19 students got higher skor than Mastery Criterion Minimal (KKM). Student’s activities in the learning process (sycle I and sycle II)is very good. Therefore, the writer can conclude that research hypothesis is eksperiment method can increase the result of student’s learning science at grade V SDN 010 Pasir Jambu Rumbio Jaya district.
