PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII B SMP NEGERI 1 LUBUK BATU JAYA Oleh: Lani Chandra1 Suhermi2 Rini Dian Anggraini3 lani.chandra@ymail.com 087893806763 Abstract: This research aims to improve learning outcomes math class VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Batu Jaya through contextual learning strategies. Because of the data base score is known that none of the students who achieve KKM. Forms of action research is a collaborative classroom. The research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Insrumen research is the study and data collection instruments. Data about the learning process derived from the observation activity of teachers and students, observation group activities, the results of product assessment worksheets, assessments written test, and student responses. While the learning outcomes data were collected by conducting daily tests. The data analysis technique used is deskripif statistical analysis techniques. From the results of daily tests I and II daily test is known that the number of students who achieve KKM in the first cycle as many as 20 students or as many as 57%, while the number of students who achieve KKM in the second cycle as many as 24 students or as many as 68%. This shows that the number of students who achieve KKM on daily tests I score a lot more than the base, and the number of students who achieve the daily test II KKM more than the daily test I. It can be concluded that the application of contextual learning strategies to improve learning outcomes math class VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Batu Jaya.
