Abstract:
Citrus fruit is a citrus fruit that is very popular with the world community. That's
because oranges have vitamins that are good for the human body. This research was
conducted to determine the differences between unripe, half-ripe and ripe oranges
based on the structure of citrus fruits with different impedance values, real,
imaginary, and phase angles. Taking impedance measurements using voltage from
an excitation voltage source National Instrument I/O Card PCI 6221 based on
LabVIEW software and injected into alternating current using platinum electrodes
to oranges with frequency parameters of 10 Hz to 50 kHz. The measurement uses
three levels of orange ripeness, namely immature, half ripe, and ripe. The more ripe
the fruit, the impedance value will increase.
