Item AKTIVITAS FOTOKATALIS SERBUK ZnO MENGGUNAKAN EKSTRAK DAUN KETAPANG SEBAGAI ABSORBAN METILEN BIRU(Elfitra, 2023-07) Silvia, Elsa; Hamzah, YanuarZinc Oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles are inorganic semiconductors that are generally powdered and non-toxic and have high electron mobility and thermal stability. This research aims to synthesize ZnO nanoparticles using Ketapang leaf extract for use in methylene blue photocatalysts. The method used in this study is Biosynthesis using Ketapang leaf extract. Ketapang leaf extract contains flavonoid compounds and tannins that function as corrosion inhibitors in metals. Ketapang leaf extract is made with a ratio of 1: 5, temperature 60°C and pH 12. The success of the reduction reaction is depicted from the UV-Vis spectrophotometer the emergence of absorption at a wavelength of 381.17 nm and an absorbance of 1.3879 a.u. ZnO nanoparticle powder successfully degraded methylene blue by 25 ppm with an efficiency of 59.8% at 1 hour and 72.4% at 2 hours.Item AKUMULASI BIOMASSA DAN KARBON TERSIMPAN PADA EKOSISTEM MANGROVE YANG TERDEGRADASI DI DESA TANJUNG LEBAN, BENGKALIS(2016-10-12) Pratama, Arie; Khairijon; Gunawan, HarisMangrove forest is a forest that occur in coastal area that influenced by the tide and can absorb a large carbon stocks. Biomass produced by mangrove ecosystem is higher than tropical forest ecosystems. The condition of mangrove forest ecosystem has decreased due to human activities. This research aimed to estimate the total biomass and carbon on the surface of mangrove forest ecosystem that have been degraded in Tanjung Leban, Bengkalis. The research used survey method with observed parameters were temperature, pH, and salinity. In this study, two locations were studied, with three transects each location. For each transect, five plot (20 x 20 m) were made. A total of five species were found in study, i.e.Brugueira cilindrica, Rhizopora apiculata, Rhizopora mucronata, Avicennia marina, and Xilocarpus granatum. The vegetation was dominated by Rhizopora mucronata with a density of 455 individu/ha. The result showed that the highest total biomass and carbon stock was found in the location 1 with a value of 52.85508 ton/ha and 26.427538 ton/ha. The lowest total biomass and carbon stock was found in location 2 with a value of 0,571336 ton/ha and 0,285668 ton/ha. Biomass and carbon stocks are influenced by soil physico-chemical parameter, the diameter and density of trees. If the value of physical-chemical soil parameters obtained was higher, the value of biomass and carbon stocks generated was also higher.Item ANALISA AIR BAWAH TANAH DI DESA RIMBO PANJANG DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE GEOLISTRIK KONFIGURASI SCHLUMBERGER DAN HIDROGEOKIMIA(2020-07) Fitri, Gita Novita; Syech, RiadResearch on the analysis of underground water in Rimbo Panjang Village using Sclumberger Geoelectric and Hydrogeochemical methods. Geoelectric is a method used to determine the nature of electric currents in the earth by detecting on the surface of the earth. Identification of the aquifer layer was carried out on 2 lines with a length of 100 meters. Based on the results of the analysis using progress software, the first path produces a resistivity value of 101.78 Ωm - 837.45 Ωm and the second path 118.02 Ωm - 863.84 Ωm. Groundwater samples at the study site were tested for pH, TDS and coli bacteria. The results showed that all water samples has acidic levels with an average pH of 5.5 so that rust often occurred on water pipes and caused smel water, whereas TDS results was not exceed the quality standard and coli bacteria exceeded the quality standard so the water was not suitable for consumption.Item ANALISA AIR TANAH DAN HIDROGEOKIMIA MENGGUNAKAN METODE GEOLISTRIK KONFIGURASI SCHLUMBERGER DI JALAN MATOA RAYA SIDOMULYO BARAT KECAMATAN TAMPAN(2020-09) Manalu, Lely Saskia; Krisman, KrismanThis research of Underground Water and Hydrogeochemistry has been done sorrounding the Street Matoa Raya West Sidomulyo, Tampan District using the Geoelectric Method Schlumberger Configuration and water quality test at UPT Health and Environment Laboratory of Riau Province. This research was aimed to identify the subsurface lithology based on resistivity values of rocks in the research area. The number of trajectories were two points with a stretch of 150 m. Geoelectric data processing was done using Microsoft Excel and Progress Software. In the trajectories I the resistivity values range from 181.59-652.54 ohm-m. The lithology of trajectories I consists of gravel, gravel sand, alluvial and sand. In the trajectories 2 resistivity values range from 272.23-1727.52 ohm-m. The lithology of trajectories 2 consists of sandy silt, gravel sand, gabbro. Water quality test using pH parameter shows that the water is acidic (pH<7). Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) levels in the sample were below the drinking water quality threshold, which is<500 mg/l.Item ANALISA ARAH ANGIN TERHADAP CURAH HUJAN MENGGUNAKAN EQUATORIAL ATMOSPHERE RADAR (EAR) DAN OPTICAL RAIN GAUGE (ORG) DI ATAS KOTOTABANG SUMATERA BARAT(2016-02-04) Sinurat, Nurmita; Sugianto; Harjupa, WendiA research on effect of wind direction to rainfall in Kototabang West Sumatera has been done by analysing the second data of daily data. The data were collected by Equatorial Atmosphere Radar (EAR) and Optical Rain Gauge (ORG) for one year (May 2014- April 2015) which were base on the results of study. It was found that the highest rainfall occurred in Agust 2014, namely 4,94 mm/day with different wind directions and speed with meridional wind +0,57 m/s, vertical wind -0,02 m/s, and zonal wind -2,56 m/s. The value of rainfall was categorised high which represented rainy season. It was supposed to be the dry season but in reality it was different because in the area of research occurred rotation of the wind direction with high air temperatures resulting in high evaporation that can cause high raifall. In July 2014 it was obtained the lowest rainfall of 0,7 mm/day with the wind direction and speed were different, namely meridional wind -0,4 m/s, vertical wind +0,02 m/s, zonal wind +3,71 m/s. Patterns of rainfall in July 2014 showed an increase in the dry season, where high zonal wind speed/strong destroyed the formation of convective clouds or rain-forming cloud that caused low rainfall. Kototabang is an area that almost every month of rain, that cause rain occured this is because the area of Kototabang is on the equator and is sourrounded by wide sea, so that in that area, high evaporation always occures.Item ANALISA BESAR PERPINDAHAN KALOR PADA SISTEM PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA UAP INDUSTRI BIODIESEL PT. CILIANDRA PERKASA, DUMAI(2016-02-01) Oktimalia, Anggita; Ginting, Maksi; Syech, RiadThe “Major analysis of heat transfer has been investigated at Steam Power of Biodiesel industry PT. Ciliandra Perkasa, Dumai” by using a field survey. The survey is conducted by observing the flow rate, pressure and temperature in the steam power plant systems. The observations calculate the enthalpy, heat required to convert water into steam and steam values that go into effect on the power turbine electrical output. Calculation results obtained turned out great enthalpy economizer entering the greatest value is 2959.1 kJ/kg and the smallest one is 2950.2 kJ/kg, while the incoming enthalpy at most major turbine is 3350.8 kJ/kg and the smallest one is 3235.6 kJ/kg. The highest enthalpy output at cattle is 3344.3 kJ/kg and the smallest one is 3216.5 kJ/kg, while the highest enthalpy output in turbine is 3286.6 kJ/kg and the smallest one is 3214.4 Kj/kg. The largest heat required to convert the water into steam is the 12816.9 MJ/h, while the smallest one is 7401.7 MJ/h. A greatest value that goes to the turbine steam is 0.00867 kg/kWh, while the smallest one is 0.00832 kg/kWh and the greatest power is 2.009 MW, while the smallest one is 1.766 MWItem ANALISA DAN PENENTUAN REDAMAN KABEL SERAT OPTIK YANG DIGUNAKAN DALAM SISTEM TELEKOMUNIKASI PADA PT. CHEVRON PACIFIC INDONESIA(2013-07-23) Sitinjak, Tumbur Marudut Tua; Krisman; SalomoThe research on analysis and determination of attenuation of optical fiber cables used in telecommunication system at PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia has been done. Optical fiber that is used is a single mode step index type G.652. Transmitting light in the optical fiber is damped that is physically caused by absorption, losses on optical fiber, switching losses and connector losses and other physical damage. Network testing was done at wavelengths of λ=1310 nm and λ=1550 nm on 6 tracks. OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) M200 series and the transmitter network of transmitting optical signals were used for measurement. The method used in this measurement is budget link, in order to measure the performance of communication system of the optical fiber cables as a result of attenuation that occurs along the cable. From measure result by OTDR M200 got highest attenuation is in the IT Tower link to ACME Office at a distance of 1,2 km, with a total attenuation value of 11.5 dB. Attenuation was caused by the lack of impurities of optical fibers and the process of splicing. On the Rangau link to Pelita MS there are 10 cores dropped from 18 cores are available. As for the other cores were in under normal circumstances of that is below the standard (International Telecomunication Union) No. T-REC-G-199802-1 is 0.35 dB/km for wavelength 1310 nm and 0.25 dB/Km for 1550 nm, indicating that of all the links that have been built have good performance and under normal circumstances so that it can be used to operate.Item ANALISA FREKUENSI ALAMI DAN REGANGAN OLEH KENDARAAN BERMOTOR MENGGUNAKAN FIBER BRAGG GRATING(2016-02-01) Tan, Michael; Saktioto; Emrinaldi, TengkuVibration-induced strain and natural frequency of Siak I Bridge were investigated in this research. A Strain was calculated from laser power measured by powermeter. Natural frequency was calculated using manual calculation with single-girder analysis. The research has been done at five measurement points at Siak I Bridge. The five measurement points were 10 m, 87,5 m, 175 m, 265 m, dan 287,5 m from the one point of the bridge in Senapelan Subdistrict. The car used to induce vibration was Xenia and the power measurement was conducted in predawn. The instruments used were laser diode, Fiber Bragg Grating (λB = 1550 nm), and powermeter. The results showed that five measuring points almost experienced strain below 20με. The natural frequency of the five measuring points at Siak I Bridge were 2,68 Hz, 2,68 Hz, 2,48 Hz, 2,99 Hz, and 2,68 HzItem ANALISA KARAKTERISTIK KELISTRIKAN TANAH GAMBUT DI DESA TELUK MERANTI KABUPATEN PELALAWAN(Elfitra, 2023-02) Noviana, Rina; Setiadi, Rahmondia NandaElectrical and physical properties of soil can be used as indicators to measure soil conditions in agriculture because of their fast and efficient measurements. One method developing agricultural applications to understand on land conditions by measuring the value of electrical conductivity and water content. The land investigated is peatland in Teluk Meranti Village, Riau. Measurements are carried out using the conductivity module and soil moisture sensor on variations in peat soil maturity, namely Fibrik, Hemik and Saprik. Measurements aree varriedin depth and concentration of water in order to evaluate water content and the electrical conductivity. The results showed that the electrical conductivity values is 18.9 S/m and the grade values 33.2 %. peat has the highest Electrical Conductivity and water content , These prove that physical properties affect the conductivity of peat soil.Item ANALISA KARAKTERISTIK SPEKTRUM SUARA ANAK PAUD MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE PRAAT(2016-02-01) Hartanti, Juli; Erwin; Syech, RiadA study of spectrum of children voice (4-5 year old) using praat software through computer has been done. The voice of sample was recorded by using a mocrophone connected to computer equipped printed praat software.The samples are girls and boys that originected from Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) Kids Center Al-Fatyah, Bina Karya Abadi and Kid’s home. The results show that the value of pitch for girls are higher than that of boys. This is due to the size of their voice band. The value of pitch are 220-290 Hz and 219-287 Hz for boys and girls respectively. The average value of formant are increased formant F1 to F3. While the value of F2 is higher for boys compared to girls. The duration for boys is longer than for girls. The time duration of girls and boys is respectively 3.0-4.0 s and 2.0-2.9 s.Item ANALISA KETINGGIAN AWANUNTUK MENENTUKAN PREDIKSI CURAH HUJAN DI WILAYAH KOTOTABANG SUMATERA BARAT(2016-02-04) Simarmata, Irsanti Roseni; Syech, Riad; Harjupa, WendyA research has been done in cloud to analyzer the relationship between rainfall and the haight of cloud in region of Kototabang West Sumatera. In this current use research, the Lidar and ORG were utilized as a source of light and measurent tools. Results of the research showed that the minimum value of MAE use 2,335 due to-day-8. That is rainfall of 0,96 mm/day. The minimum rainfall use occured on 9th April, whiel use 0 mm/day, whiel means no rain happend: clouds that use formed did not count rain. This fenomenon use count by formed cloud use affected by heat advection resulting that cloud re-warmed and did not couse the rain. The maximum rainfall recured on 5th April,use about 23,12 mm/day. This value represented the high evaporation happend at that time in Kototabang. The percentage of rainfall that occurred at high cloud, middle cloud and low cloud use 20,58 %, 41,18 % and 27,94 % effectively.Item ANALISA KINERJA PENYERAPAN LOGAM BERAT MENGGUNAKAN KARBON AKTIF PADA SUMUR BOR DAN SUMUR GALIAN DI KOTA DUMAI(2016-02-01) Amelia, Elsa; Taer, Erman; SugiantoManufacturing and testing of magnetic carbon of rubber wood sawdust mixture and for heavy metal absorption of iron in water samples Drilling, Well Water Excavation in Dumai, has been investigated the magnetic carbon begins with a pre-carbonization process at a temperature of 280oC in a vacuum. Milling and sieving process to obtain the carbon particle size is less than 38 μm, the increment in the surface area of the carbon is done by using a chemical activation with potassium hydroxide (KOH), the activator weight ratio of KOH and carbon powder was 4: 1. The carbon is then neutralized by using distilled water and a solution of chloride acide (HCl) repeated until the pH of the washing water became neutral. Furthermore,the activated carbon powder mixed uses powder with a ratio of 5: 4. Mixture is done by using a mortar and proceeded with the process ball milling for 2 hours. Finally, a mixture of carbon powder and is carbonized at 850 °C at N2 gas and then followed by washing and drying to produce a magnetic carbon . The testing of Fe ion absorption from water sample, Water Well Drilling Excavation and filtered in Dumai is done every 2 hours. The results at atomic absorption spectroscopy showed that the increment of absorption after 2 hours has water absorption percentage of 97.94% Drilling, Well Water Excavation amounted of 83.58 % Minerals and Water Drilling filtered by 56.18% with the use of magnetic . Testing X-ray diffraction showed peaks Fe 2θ = 36o angle and Scanning Electron Microscopy shows the particle size is similar to irregular shapes and whitish. Dispersive energy X-rays have shown the presence of Fe in the magnetic carbon absorbent material of rubber wood sawdust.Item ANALISA KOMPOSISI DAN UKURAN PARTIKEL OKSIDA BESI DI PREPARASI BALL MILLING DUA TAHAP(Elfitra, 2023-05) Wijaya, Harits Ari; Salomo, SalomoThe value of magnetic susceptibility and variation of composition and size of iron oxide particles from natural sand collected from Rokan River Riau Province have been investigated by ball milling.The results show that the value of magnetic susceptibility increase with increasing ball milling rotation time, namely from 11349.9 in BM 1, to 12385.6 in BM 2A, 13369.5 in BM 2B; and 14526,2 on BM 2C respectively. Likewise with the test results using X-Ray Fluorescence which showed that the magnetic element, namely Fe, experienced an increase in the proportion from 48.141% for BM 1 to 50.358% for BM 2A, 51.586% for BM 2B and 52.239% for BM 2C respectively. The test results using a Scanning Electron Microscope show that the average sample particle size decrease from 120,14 nm to 113,66 nm; 105,02 nm; and 95,68 nm as the milling time increasesItem ANALISA KONTAMINASI LOGAM BERAT PADA TANAH MENGGUNAKAN PENGUKURAN SUSEPTIBILITAS MAGNETIK BERBASIS RANGKAIAN INTEGRATOR RL(Elfitra, 2022-05) Wulandari, Wulandari; Setiadi, Rahmondia NandaThe increase in the concentration of pollutants in the soil due to human activities is increasingly worrying. Soil management requires soil pollution measurement technology due to heavy metal contamination. Metal contaminants are indicators for the assessment of heavy metals in soil through analysis of magnetic susceptibility measurement data. The samples used were soils from a Settlement, a River Flow, and a Sand Mining area in Duri City, Bengkalis Regency. The susceptibility measurement was carried out using a magnetization curve instrument based on an RL integrator circuit with a frequency variation of 1, 10, and 100 Hz. The measurement results show the effect of the given frequency, namely the greater the measurement frequency, the smaller the susceptibility value. The three soil samples measured showed low and positive paramagnetic susceptibility values. The Magnetization Curve Characterization Instrument can be used and works well for the measurement of magnetic susceptibility values.Item ANALISA LOOP HYSTERESIS DAN MORFOLOGI NANOPARTIKEL OKSIDA BESI PASIR ALAM LOGAS DIDOPING COBALT DAN APLIKASINYA UNTUK DEGRADASI METILEN BIRU(Elfitra, 2023-07) Milini, Amo; Amiruddin, ErwinMethylene blue, a synthetic dye is widely used in the textile industry. Methylene blue has a negative impact on the environment, for example contaminated water, so it is necessary to overcome this problem, using degradation method. This research has been carried out on the application of iron oxide nanoparticles for the degradation of methylene blue. Iron oxide nanoparticles are obtained from Logas natural sand Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province through a Ball Milling process. Determination of the magnetic and morphological properties of the sample is determined using a Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The results of research using VSM showed that the values of saturation magnetization (Ms), remanent magnetization (Mr) and coercivity (Hc) increased with the addition of Cobalt concentration. The saturation Magnetization value (Ms) is 7.98 emu/g; 17.42 emu/g; and 19.01 emu/g, Remanent magnetization (Mr) 0.65 emu/g; 1.52 emu/g; and 1.64 emu/g, Coercivity (Hc) 124.21 Oe; 255.5 Oe; and 269.29 Oe. The results of SEM data of iron oxide nanoparticles magnification of 10,000 times showed a decrease in the average particle size as the concentration of Cobalt doping increased, namely 0.812 μm; 0.637μm; and 0.631 μm. The ability of Iron Oxide nanoparticles as a catalyst in UV-Vis spectroscopy and showed a poor ability to degrade methylene blue in aqueous solution when Iron Oxide nanoparticles are doped with Cobalt. The best efficiency is when hematite is doped with Cobalt 0 wt.%, 5 wt.% and 10 wt.% in the first 20 minutes are 81.62%, 70.909% and 82.856% respectively.Item Analisa Pengaruh Doping Mangan Terhadap Suseptibilitas Magnetik dan Sifat Kristalinitas Pasir Alam Sungai Rokan Sebagai Fungsi Kecepatan Putaran Tabung(Elfitra, 2022-07) Widia, Selvyandra Ananda; Salomo, SalomoThe rotation speed of the tube in the ball milling method affects the crystalline size and magnetic properties of the natural sand sample used. Identification of elemental content in natural sand was carried out using X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) for ball milling product with tube rotational speed functions of 100 rpm, 150 rpm and 200 rpm.The ball milling product is then separated using Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB).The result of this study XRF identification results showed that the Fe composition increased from 16,007% to 16,439%. while the composition of K, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, and Ni increased,the composition of Si, Al, P and Cu decreased. The results of XRD identification produced hematite (Fe2o3) phase magnetic nanoparticles with a rhombohedral crystal system. The average size of the crystals increased at a speed of 150 rpm was 28,8292 nm.Item ANALISA PENGARUH KADAR AIR TERHADAP FLUORESENSI KLOROFIL DAUN BAYAM MENGGUNAKAN METODE PENCITRAAN FLUORESENSI (FLUORESCENCE IMAGING)(2016-02-01) Ekayani, Fernika; Minarni; ZulkarnainFluorescence imaging is a method used to detect the early effects of environmental conditions on plants before the greater damage on plants happen. A fluorescence imaging optical system was built in this research consisted of two LEDs with different wavelength i.e. 450 nm and 680 nm, 3 MP CMOS camera and lens, and ND filters (neutral density filter). The intensities of LED light were varied using three different ND filters which were represented by their optical power. The samples were Amaranthus tricolor L. Spinach varitas. The plants were five different water volume i.e. 75 ml, 100 ml, 125 ml, 150 ml,and 175 ml. The differences between chlorophyll fluorescence intensity of the spinach leaves for all treatments were investigated. The images of leaves after illuminated by the LED lights were recorded by the CMOS camera. The fluorescenced intensities were found from RGB plot using ImageJ software. The research results show that the maximum fluorescence intensity spinach which grow with water volume 75 ml and the minimum fluorescence intensity spinach which grow with water volume 125 ml used LED with wavelength 450 nm and 680 nm. The difference of fluorescence intensity spinach which grow with water volume 75 ml and 125 ml used LED at wavelength 680 nm was seen higher when LED intensity was the lowest which was about 45,32 % difference.Item ANALISA PENGARUH KETEBALAN LEMPENGAN BESI (Fe) TERHADAP INDUKSI MAGNETIK YANG DITIMBULKAN OLEH BEBERAPA MEREK TELEPON SELULER(2016-02-01) Noprianti, Ikrah; Erwin; SalomoNowadays, a cellular telephone is predicted to generate the effect of electromagnetic radiation on the users. In this research, the measurement of magnetic induction generated by three cellular telephones (sample A, B and C) was demostrated. The measurement was performed in two directions namely horizontal and vertical directions. In order to measure the magnetic induction, was used a Pasco magnetic probe 2162. The magnetic induction in the horizontal direction was measured with the distance of 0,5 cm from the cellular telephone. The effect of a slab of iron with various thicknesses namely 1-4 mm on magnetic induction was also studied. The results of this research showed that the value of magnetic induction generated by the cellular telephone sample A is the highest among brand B and C with the value of 7.73300x10-4 Tesla and followed by sample B and C with the value of 3.6241x10-4 Tesla and 1.41615x10-4 Tesla respectively. The value of magnetic induction in vertical direction decreases very significantly with the distance. Moreover, the magnetic induction increases when a slab of iron with the thickness of 1 mm to 4 mm was introduced.Item ANALISA PENGARUH PENYAKIT FLU DAN BATUK TERHADAP SUARA PENDERITA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN KOMPUTER(2016-02-01) Lina, Devi; Erwin; Surbakti, AntoniusThe study of the influence of flu and cough disease of men and women on their voice spectrum had been carried out. The sample voices were recorded by using a computer equipped with a software called “Praat” as a substitute for spectrum analyzer. The samples were selected for three boys and three girls at the age of 7-11, three females and three males at the age of 22-24 in the condition of normal and sick (flu and cough). There are three pieces of voices that has to be spoken by the sample, namely “Jurusan Fisika”, “Tetap Maju”, and “Selamat Sore”. In order to obtain a better result of the study, it is necessary for the sample to say the three pieces of voices in three times. The results show that the value of the fundamental frequency for the women is higher than that of the men either in normal (well) condition or unwell condition. The value of the fundamental frequency for children in unwell condition is around 276 Hz and 249 Hz for female and male respectively and for adult is 182 Hz for female and 143 for male. While the value of the fundamental frequency sample in the normal condition for children is 269 Hz for female and 252 Hz for male, for adult is 175 Hz for female and 130 Hz for male. The results also shows that the average value of format F1, F2, and F3 for males is higher compared to that for women in both conditions. Furthermore, the time duration for the three pieces of voices is longer for children compared to that for adult, while the time duration for the three pieces of voices for the samples in normal condition is shorter compared to that of unwell conditionItem ANALISA PENGARUH SUDUT PENYINARAN TERHADAP GRAY VALUE PADA POLA SPEKEL BUAH APEL MENGGUNAKAN METODE LASER SPECKLE IMAGING(2016-02-01) Siregar, Rasmiana Poja; Minarni; Emrinaldi, TengkuSpeckle patterns are formed from scattered coherent lights which interfere each other when an object surface is illuminated by a coherent light. Speckles formed on the surface of biological object are called biospeckle. Laser Speckle Imaging (LSI) is a non-destructive imaging technique that can be used to detect the optical signal from biological tissue. A simple LSI system is consist of three main components, which are a laser as a light source, a sample, and a light detector. In this study, LSI system has been constructed using He-Ne laser as a light source, Fuji apples and Washington apples (Red Delicious) as samples and CMOS camera as detector. Angles of light incident on the samples were varied that was 30o, 45o, and 60o angles in order to know the optimum angle that gave the highest speckle patterns intensity. The speckle patterns represented by lever of gray value were analyzed using Image-J software. The result showed that the level of maximum gray value depended on the angle of illumination. The bigger the irradiation angle was the smaller the maximum of gray value. The maximum gray values Intensity Fuji apples were higher than Washington apples for each angle. The level of gray value maximum of speckle pattern apples at an angle of 30o consecutive were 127,6523 a.u for Fuji apples and 99,9951 a.u for Washington apples, at an angle of 45o were 111,0635 a.u for Fuji apples and 83,5215 a.u for Washington apples and at an angle of 60o were 102,8457 a.u for Fuji apples and 66,9639 a.u for Washington apples. That was because the surface of Fuji apples more roughers than Washington apples.
