Item AKTIVITAS ANTIDEPRESAN EKSTRAK n-HEKSANA BIJI PINANG TUA DENGAN METODA FORCED SWIM TEST PADA MENCIT JANTAN (Mus musculus)(Elfitra, 2023-12) RahayuDepression is a mental health disorder characterized by unstable mood and frequent emotional changes. Antidepressant drugs can be used as initial pharmacological therapy for depressive disorders. The Forced Swim Test (FST) method is a method used to see antidepressant activity. This study aims to determine the antidepressant activity of n-hexane extract of mature areca nut seeds using the FST method acutely. FST was used because it is one of the most widely used in vivo methods for detecting antidepressant drugs in test animals. The injection into mice was carried out intraperitoneally 1 hour before FST at a dose of 10 mg/kg and the control group was only injected with 0.9% saline. N-hexane extract of old areca nut seeds at a dose of 10 mg/kg was not effective as an antidepressant because there was no significant reduction in immobility time compared to controls.Item Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Make A Match Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas IVB SD Negeri 163 Pekanbaru(2013-07-08) RahayuThis research on the application of cooperative learning model Make a Match type in Math subject aimed at increasing students’ learning outcomes at IVB class of SD Negeri 163 Pekanbaru. This study was a classroom action research done collaboratively between the researcher and the teacher of Math subject at IVB class. This research was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings. The researcher did a test at the end of each cycle. The data of the research was obtained from the observation on teacher’s activities as well as students’ activities along the treatment and the result of the tests at the end of each cycle. The findings of this research show that the outcomes of students’ learning at IVB Classof SD Negeri 163 Pekanbaru in Math increased significantly after being given the treatment of cooperative learning model Make a Match type. It can be seen from the average score of students score in each test. The outcomes of students’ learning before the treatment were low. It can be seen from the average score of their ability which was 62.87. Whereas the average score of the testswere 68.84 in the first cycle, 77.04 in the second cycle, and 86.95 in the last cycle. The percentage of teacher’s activities was 62.50% with good categoryin the first cyclein the first cycle, 82.5% with excellent category in the second cycle, and 91% with excellent category in the last cycle. Besides, the data explore thatthe percentage of students’ activities were; 60% in the first cycle with average category, 76.25% in the second cycle with good category, and 88% in the last cycle with excellent category.
