    CODE MIXING IN NEGERI LIMA MENARA NOVEL BY AHMAD FUADI

    This study aimed to describe the factors that cause code mixing, function of code mixing, and type of code mixing in the interfering speech Negeri Lima Menara’s character. This study used descriptive method. The technique used in this study is the technique of reading and write. Data in this study is conversation utterances in Negeri Lima Menara novel. The results of this study showed a 9 factors cause code that is custom mixed speakers, cultural background speakers, speaker wishes to explain something, educational level speakers, not the exact equivalents, less controlled vocabulary used, increased prestige, a sense of regionalism and religious, and the desire feature mind. The function of code mixing is said to create a situation that is more familiar and relaxed speakers indicate emotional closeness with a particular language, explain the meaning to be conveyed speakers, speaker asserts or emphasizes purpose, as a form of homage to the opponents said, represent something to be conveyed speakers, show a sense of regionalism, opponents said offset language, and demonstrate the value or religious sense. The types of code mixing contained code outside interference, interfering into the code, and mix code mixing.

(0761) 63266 Abstract: This research aims to improve student’s mathematics learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning model of Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type in class Va SDN 002 Sipungguk, in odd semester of academic years 2012/2013. Subjects were students of class of Va SDN 002 Sipungguk, totaling 16 people consisting of 12 male students and 4 female students. Students in this class are heterogeneous in terms academic and gender. It was conducted in two cycles. The activity of a students learning outcomes data were gained by collecting activity data by using observation sheet and test. Analysis of the data used descriptive statistical analysis that describes the activities of the teacher and students, analysis of learning outcomes and successful measurements. The result of the first cycle found that percentage of student who achieve mastery minimum criteria ( 65) on the base score 10 students (62,5%), increased in the firsh cycle to 12 students (75%) and increased again in the second cycle to 15 students (93,75%). The conclusion of this study indicate that cooperative learning model type of Student Team Achieviment Division (STAD) can improve student’s mathematic learning outcomes.

    This study aims to determine the implementation of coordination in efforts to create peace and public order by Logas Tanah Darat district and to determine the factors that cause to less than optimal role of the distric in an effort to coordinate the implementation of peace and public order in the Logas Tanah Darat distric. Types and sources of data in this research obtained from the primary data sourced from research information and secondary data obtained through books related to research. Informants in this study is the district of Logas Tanah Darat, head of the peace and public order, headman of Logas, headman of Lubuk Kebun, secretary of Logas village, secretary of Lubuk Kebun village, and some community leaders. This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis, after analysis it can be concluded that the general role in coordinating the implementation of district peace and public order when the research is done quite well, reted district is able to coordinating efforts is due to internal factor and external factor, given so widely the range is made to coordinate management.
