Item Growth Kinetics of Microorganisms On Fiber Solid Waste Composting Of Palm Oil Plant(2016-04-22) Firdha, Irena; Ahmad, Adrianto; Amri, IdralSolid waste of palm oil has increased along palm oil industry development in Indonesia. Solid waste palm oil mill is organic pollutants. One of it is fiber waste, if it not managed properly will pollute the environment. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of mixed cultures on process of aerobic composting of palm fiber with windrow method. This research is treating three windrows with size 6 x 1 x 0.5 m3 each one without the addition of a starter, with the addition of starter and addition of starter and POME. The C/N ratio result of the research showed that 19,91 on composting without starter at days 34, 19,73 on composting with starter addition at days 32, and 16,93 at days 30 on composting with addition of starter and POME. Optimum composting is windrow with additing starter and POME. At this composting kinetic parameters are maximum growth rate (μmaks), máximum substrat consumption constanta (Ks), and yield coeficient (Y), continuously 0,73 day-1, 49,1 g/L, and 0,030.Item PENGARUH WAKTU TINGGAL HIDROIIK (wth) TERHADAP PENYISIHAN COD LIMBAH CAIR PABRIK MINYAK SAWIT MENGGUNAKAN BIOREAKTOR HIBRID ANAEROB BERMEDIA BATU SKALA PILOT PLANT(2014-02-05) Firdha, Irena; Ahmad, Adrianto; Amraini, Said ZulIndustrial palm oil waste water has increased along with growth the palm oil industry in the Indonesia; Industrial palm oil waste water is a very dangerous organic poUutants. So, designed a hybrid bioreactor with the stone be the media system lhnt utilkes the ability maintain the biomass can be realized; so the ejfort to; build a technology that is used to treat wastewater effectively and efficiently can be applied.Item Pengaruh Waktu Tinggal Hidrolik (WTH) terhadap Penyisihan COD Limbah Cair Pabrik Minyak Sawit Menggunakan Bioreaktor Hibrid Anaerob Bermedia Batu Skala Pilot Plant(2013-05-04) Firdha, Irena; Ahmad, Adrianto; Zul Amraini, SaidLimbah cair minyak sawit jumlahnya meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan industri minyak sawit di Indonesia. Limbah cair pabrik minyak sawit merupakan polutan organik yang sangat berbahaya. Pada pengolahan limbah cair secara konvensional dengan kolam anaerobik, mikroorganisme mampu mendegradasi senyawa organik dalam limbah cair dalam waktu yang lama. Untuk itu pengoperasian bioreaktor hibrid anaerob bermedia batu diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan mikroorganisme untuk mendegradasi bahan organik tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji dan mempelajari waktu tinggal hidrolik substrat terhadap penyisihan COD limbah cair pabrik minyak sawit pada bioreaktor hibrid anaerob. Penelitian dilakukan dengan beberapa variasi WTH, yaitu 1, 2, 3, dan 4 hari. Masing-masing WTH dioperasikan sampai diperoleh keadaan tunak berdasarkan data COD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa WTH mempengaruhi efisiensi penyisihan COD dimana nilai COD pada WTH 1 hari adalah 80%, 82% pada WTH 2 hari, 88% pada WTH 3 hari, dan 90% pada WTH 4 hari. Dengan demikian, diharapkan perancangan sistem bioreaktor hibrid anaerob bermedia batu yang memanfaatkan kemampuan mempertahankan biomasa ini dapat direalisasikan, sehingga upaya untuk mewujudkan suatu teknologi yang digunakan untuk mengolah limbah secara efektif dan efisien dapat diterapkan.
