Item ANALISIS ISI LAMBUNG IKAN BAUNG (Mystus nemurus) DARI PERAIRAN SUNGAI SIAK, KECAMATAN RUMBAI PESISIR, PEKANBARU(2013-03-22) Mahatma, Radith; Yusfiati; Elvyra, Roza; TitrawaniPenelitian bertujuan menganalisis pakan pada isi lambung ikan baung, melihat kondisi jaringan pada organ usus ikan baung dan mengidentifikasi parasit (ekto maupun endoparasit) pada ikan baung yang ditemukan di perairan Sungai Siak. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Sampel untuk analisis isi lambung dan endoparasit sebanyak 30 ekor, 5 ekor untuk pengamatan struktur usus ikan baung. Analisis isi lambung dengan Index of Preponderance (IP), endoparasit di usus ikan dan struktur usus dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis isi lambung nilai IP yaitu 95,3% (detritus), 4,0% (udang), 0,5% (kumbang air), dan 0,2% (serasah). Bagian usus mengalami kerusakan yaitu pada tunika mukosa di lapisan epitel nekrosis, lamina propria tunika mukosa menyatu dan pembengkakan, pemendekan vili, vili menyatu, sel epitel menyatu dan penebalan otot polos sirkular. Jumlah sel goblet di usus depan yaitu 34 sel/mm, usus tengah dan belakang 46 sel/mm, luas area sel goblet usus depan ( 0,40%/mm), usus tengah (0,63%/mm) dan usus belakang (0,59%/mm). Jenis parasit yang paling banyak menyerang ikan Baung {M.nemurus C.V.) adalah Trichodina sp, Dactylogyrus sp dan Capillaria sp. Bagian tubuh yang sering diserang adalah insang, sirip, lambung, usus dan anus. Ikan baung yang terinfeksi parasit sebanyak 15 ekor.Item ANALISIS ISI LAMBUNG IKAN HIDUNG BUDAK Ceratoglanis scleronema (Bleeker 1862) DI DESA MENTULIK SUNGAI KAMPAR KIRI PROVINSI RIAU(2016-01-28) Elisabeth, Christina; Elvyra, Roza; YusfiatiStudy on gut content of hidung budak fish (Ceratoglanis scleronema) from Kampar Kiri River was conducted from November 2014 to April 2015. The objective of this study was to assess the type of food of hidung budak fish from Kampar Kiri River. We observed the gut content from 75 samples of hidung budak fish, which consist of 44 males and 31 females. Gut content analysis was performed based on Natarjan and Jhingran (Effendie 1979) using Index of Preponderance (The Highest Part Index). The result of this analysis indicated that there were five group of food, they were fish (Kryptopterus sp.), insects, worm, plant litter and animal debris. The percentage of Index of Preponderance for small fish (Kryptopterus sp.), insect, worm, plant litter and animal debris were 1,04 %, 5,43 %, 3,59 %, 13,29 % and 76,65%, respectively. The composition of food found from males fishes were small fish (Kryptopterus sp.), insects, worm, plant litter and animal debris. While the composition of food from females fishes were insects, worm, plant litter and animal debris.Item ANALISIS ISI LAMBUNG IKAN SENGARAT (Belodontichthys dinema, Bleeker 1851) DI SUNGAI TAPUNG PROVINSI RIAU(2016-01-28) Aprilyn, Devika; Elvyra, Roza; YusfiatiSengarat (Belodontichthys dinema) is one of the fish belongs to Siluridae family which live in Tapung River, Riau Province. This fish is vurnerable according to IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). Therefore aquaculture is needed for its preservation. This research aims to give information about the gut content of Sengarat fish and categorized it as main food, supplement food and additional food. Information about gut content becoming a necessary for food composition in aquaculture and conservation of sengarat fish. Research about the gut content of Sengarat fish in Tapung River, Riau Province has been conducted for 6 months, since November 2014 until April 2015. Index of Preponderance (IP) was used to find out the biggest index of food in the gut of Sengarat fish. Result of the examination on 66 fishes (38 male and 28 female fish) indicated that the animal debric has the highest IP score (60,94%). Following the animal debric, litterfall, small fish, fish scale, and insect have IP score respectively (38,04%), (0,70%), (0,26%), (0,07%). Based on the Index of Preponderance (IP) score Sengarat fish consider as the carnivore fish.Item Aspek Biologi Dan Ekologi Organism Bentos Dan Ikan Buntal Mas (Tetraodon Fluviatilis Hb) Di Kawasan Mangrove Pesisir Timur Sumatra kec. Bukit Batu kab.Bengkalis Area Transisi Cagar Biosfer Giam Siak Kecil-Bukit Batu(wahyu sari yeni, 2017-07-22) Yusfiati; Mahatma, Radith; Titrawani; Elvyra, RozaTujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi kelimpahan dan keragaman meiobentos di kawasan mangrove pesisir Timur Sumatra Kec. Bukit Batu, Kabupaten Bengkaslis, Mengidentifikasi struktur komunitas dan kelimpahan makrobentos di kawasan mangrove pesisir Timur Sumatra Kec. Bukit Batu, Kabupaten Bengkaslis dan mengetahui dan menganalisis diferensiasi karakter morfometri dan meristik populasi ikan buntal Mas (T. fluviatilis H.B) di perairan pakning. Total 60 dampel berhasil disamplingkan dari kedua lokasi, desa Tanjung Leban dan Bukit Batu Laut. Sebanyak 50 dari 60 sampel sedimen yang dikoleksi untuk memeriksa meiofauna yang berhasil diisolasi dari sedimen. Sedang sampling makrobentos telah dilakukan 60 sampel berhasil disampling dan sebanyak 50 dari 60 sampel sedimen yang dikoleksi di kedua lokasi. Kisaran panjang total (PT) ikan buntal mas di Muara Pakning pada jantan 43 mm sampai 92 mm dan betina 65 mm sampai 130 mm. Pada Muara Bengkel, panjang total Jantan 40 mm sampai 87 mm dan betina 57 mm sampai 92 mm. Sedangkan panjang total tubuh ikan buntal mas di Muara Jangkang pada jantan 31 mm sampai 87 mm dan betina 35 sampai 95 mm. Karakter morfometrik ikan buntal mas betina dan jantan pada tiga lokasi pengamatan memiliki keeratan hubungan yang sangat kuat, sedang dan lemah, serta status hubungannya allometrik positif, allometrik negatif dan isometrik. This research was aimed to study stomach contents and morphometric parameters of the digestive apparatus. Total length of the males green spotted puffer fish which found during this study were ranges 38-173 mm and female were 51-158 mm. The natural food which was found in the stomach of the green spotted puffer fish consists of fish, shrimp, mussel, bivalva, animal debris, fitoplankton and zooplankton. The length of intestine from male specimens were 0,8-1,8 times of the body, whereas females specimens have intestine 0,7-1,7 times of the body length. The ratio of stomach, intestine length, ratio intestine length, and ratio ISI (Intestinal Somatic Index) have positive correlation with total body length of the green spotted puffer fish. The result reveals that the green spotted puffer fish is karnivorous fish based on main food and intestine length.Item ASPEK BIOLOGI MAKANAN DAN MORFOMETRIK SALURAN PENCERNAAN IKAN BUNTAL MAS (Tetraodon fluviatilis) DI MUARA PERAIRAN BENGKALIS, RIAU(2016-01-28) Lestari, Nining Puji; Yusfiati; Elvyra, RozaThe purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the biological aspects of food and obtain the data base on some parameters of the gastrointestinal tract of golden puffer fish (Tetraodon fluviatilis) from estuary waters of Bengkalis, Riau. Organisms which were found from the stomach of golden puffer fish were identified using Sachlan (1974) and Kottelat et al. (1993). The ratio of stomach weight /body weight, intestinal length/total body length, the ratio of intestinal length /total body length, the ratio of intestinal weight/body weight were statistically processed with linear regression (Annuddin, 2005). The result indicated that within the stomach of golden puffer fish were found natural foods that its a piece of fish, shrimp, and debris. Phytoplankton which found from stomach were the Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Euglenophyceae, Phyrophyceae. Furthermore, the zooplankton which found were Nematoda, Rotifera, Ostracoda, Cladocera, Copepoda, Dapnia. Intestinal on male golden puffer fish was 0.5 to 1 times of its total body length and female fish is from 0.6 to 1 times of its total body length. The ratio of stomach weight, intestine length, the ratio of intestinal length and the ratio of ISI (intestinal Somatic Index) has a positive correlation with total body length of golden puffer fish. Golden puffer fish male and female was considered as a carnivorous fish based on the type of food and the length of gut.Item ASPEK BIOLOGI REPRODUKSI IKAN HIDUNG BUDAK (Ceratoglanis scleronema Bleeker, 1862) DI SUNGAI MENTULIK, KAMPAR KIRI PROVINSI RIAU(2016-01-28) Pasaribu, Sri Damayanti; Elvyra, Roza; YusfiatiMentulik river is one of the floodplain river ecosystems in Riau Province and the natural habitats for many fish species. Hidung Budak fish (Ceratoglanis scleronema Bleeker 1862) is one of the fish found in Mentulik River. This study was aimed to determine the reproduction aspects of C. scleronema such as sexuality, sex ratio, gonad maturity level, fecundity, eggs diametre and gonad maturity index. This study has been conducted on November 2014 until April 2015 in Mentulik River. The number of fish obtained were 65 individuals with 39 males and 26 female and sex ratio 1.5:1. The growing patterns of male and female fish was allometric negative. Gonad maturity level for male fishes founded were TKG I-IV and female were TKG I-V. The average length and body weight female fishes were ranged from 31.73 to 44 cm and174.3 to 285.06 g and for male fishes 35.3 to 41.33 cm and 155.09 to 249.97 g. Fecundity were ranged from 6191-32008 eggs, with a relatively uniform diametre of eggs in each sub section. The result indicated that C. scleronema is a total spawner.Item ASPEK BIOLOGI REPRODUKSI IKAN LAIS KACA (Kryptopterus minor Roberts, 1989) DI SUNGAI ROKAN HULU PROVINSI RIAU(2013-06-20) Suhendra, Meyla; Elvyra, Roza; YusfiatiRokan Hulu river is one of potential floodplain river ecosystems in Riau Province and natural habitats of Lais Kaca fish (Kryptopterus minor). The purpose of this study is to investigate reproduction aspects of Lais Kaca fish in Rokan Hulu river, that have not been conducted until now. This research was considered as a basic study to provide a solution to some problems that directly effect the production of Lais Kaca fish, such as factor condition, sexuality, sex ratio, gonad maturity level (TKG), gonad maturity index (IKG), spawning patterns, and reproductive potential. The research was conducted during six months from September 2012 to February 2013. Total number of fish obtained was 68, which consist of 30 males and 38 females. The length and weight of male fishes were between 13,1 to 17,4 cm and between 10,7 to 27,55 g, resvectively. Factor Condition values were calculated using allometric formula with mean values were 0,55 for male fishes and 0,63 for female fishes. Sex ratio between male and female fishes was 1,27:1. Gonad maturity level found was from TKG I to III. Gonad maturity index (IKG) of female fishes in TKG I-III was ranged from 1,5 to 10,0%, and males from 1,21 to 2,02%. Lais Kaca fish with mature gonad was not found in six month research. This indicated that Lais Kaca fish has permanent spawn season, especially at the beginning of the rainy season with total spawner spawning pattern.Item ASPEK REPRODUKSI IKAN LAIS DANAU (Ompok hypophthalmus Bleeker, 1846) DI SUNGAI TAPUNG HILIR PROVINSI RIAU(2013-05-23) Hayana, Melly; Elvyra, Roza; YusfiatiTapung Hilir river is one of the potential floodplain river ecosystems in Riau Province and the natural habitats of lais danau fish (Ompok hypophthalmus). The purpose of this study is to investigate the reproduction aspects of lais danau fish, that have not been conducted until now. This research was considered as a basic study to provide a solution to some problems that directly effect the production of lais danau fish, such as sexuality, sex ratio, gonad maturity level (TKG), gonad maturity index (IKG) and spawning patterns. The research was conducted during six months from September 2012 to February 2013. Total number of fish obtained was 434, which consist of 185 males and 249 females, sex ratio 1.34: 1. The length of female fish was range between 15.00 to 28.00 cm and it’s weight was range between 10.10 to 108.40 g. Male fish had length from 16.00 to 27,00 cm and weight from 13.80 to 122.50 g. Gonad maturity level found was TKG I to V. The range of length and body weight for females and males of lais danau fish increased on TKG I to IV. Female fishes had average length which was range from 21.83 to 23.02 cm and weight from 58.81 to 60.92 g. The male fishes had average length between from 21.81 to 22.39 cm and weights from 58.82 to 62.87 g. Gonad maturity index (IKG) of female fishes in TKG I-V was ranged from 0.03 to 8.21%, and males from 0.01 to 0.45%. Ruang terbuka hijau (green open spaces) yang ada dikampus UR merupakan kawasan atau areal permukaan tanah yang didominasi oleh tumbuhan yang berfungsi untuk sarana lingkungan dan pengamanan jaringan prasarana, atau meningkatkan kualitas atmosfer, menunjang kelestarian air dan tanah. Universitas Riau memiliki Arboretum, dengan luas lebih 5,914 ha yaitu suatu lahan yang ditanami berbagai jenis tumbuhan yang bermanfaat untuk keperluan koleksi, penelitian, dan konservasi ex-situ. Tapung hilir river is one of a natural habitat for Lais Janggut fish. The purpose of this study is to investigate reproduction aspect of Lais Janggut fish from Tapung Hilir River that has not ben conducted until now. The Benefit of this research is to provide a basic information that directly effect the production of Lais Janggut fish, such as sexuality, sex ratio, gonad maturity level (TKG), gonad maturity indeks (IKG), fecundity, eggs diameter, spawning pattern and reproductive potential. The research was conducted from September 2012 to Februari 2013 in three sampling stations at Tapung Hilir River, they are Selembakan Palas, Flamboyan and Kota Garo. Total numbers of Lais Janggut Fish obtained was 431 individu, which consisted of 231 female and 200 male (sex ratio 1,15 :1). The leght and weight of male fishes was range between 15.00 to 25.80 cm and 8.40 to 56.10 g, respectively . The female fishes had legth from 16.00 to 26.50 cm and weight from 10.70 to 55.70 g. Gonad maturity level found during thius study were TKG I to TKG V. Gonad maturity indeks (IKG) of male fishes in TKG I to V was range from 0.05 to 2.75 % and female 0.03 to 12.09 %. IKG increases with TKG and decreased after spawning.Item BIOLOGI REPRODUKSI IKAN SENGARAT (Belodontichtys dinema, Bleeker 1851) DI SUNGAI TAPUNG, PROVINSI RIAU(2016-01-30) Hasibuan, Yustiny Andaliza; Elvyra, Roza; YusfiatiBelodontichtys dinema is one of high-economic fish from Riau which is currently become endangered. This research was aimed to examine aspects reproduction of B.dinema which include the maturity stages, gonad maturity index and sex ratio. This research was conducted from November 2014 to March 2015. The are 66 individuals fish observed, which consisted of 38 males and 28 females.The length of standard and body weight for male fishes were range between 32,5-49,5 cm and 130-750gr. Meanwhile, the length of standard and body weight of female fishes were range from 30,8-64,4 cm and 190-1950gr. Sex ratio between males and females fishes were 1,35:1. Ripe males and females on stage IV fish was found on November with 36,33% and 13,33%. Sungai paparan banjir di Riau umumnya dicirikan oleh warna perairan coklat tua, transparansi tinggi dan pH relatif lebih rendah. Ada beberapa jenis ikan yang bersifat endemik di sungai paparan banjir yaitu jenis-jenis ikan dari genus Kryptopterus dan Ompok yang termasuk famili Siluridae yang dikenal secara umum di Indonesia sebagai ikan lais, dan secara spesifik di Riau dikenal dengan nama ikan selais. Ikan selais merupakan maskot kota Pekanbaru dan ikan konsumsi yang bernilai ekonomis tinggi. Oleh karena potensinya, eksplorasi informasi yang mendalam mengenai ikan ini sangat perlu diketahui dengan pasti terutama dengan teknik molekuler yang telah berkembang pesat akhir-akhir ini. Sampai saat ini, informasi ilmiah mengenai penanda genetik ikan endemik sungai paparan banjir khususnya dari provinsi Riau belum begitu banyak diketahui. Penelitian yang telah dilakukan umumnya masih terbatas secara morfologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan penanda genetik spesifik ikan endemik sungai paparan banjir Provinsi Riau, berbasis gen penyandi protein yaitu gen Cox-1 pada tahun pertama, sedangkan pada tahun kedua menentukan penanda genetik spesifik berbasis daerah bukan penyandi protein (non coding region) yaitu D-loop region. Penelitian mengenai penanda genetik spesifik dapat digunakan sebagai DNA barcode yang mencirikan identitas jenis dan asal-usul jenis tersebut. Dalam penelitian tahun kedua, setiap individu dari masing-masing jenis yang didapatkan dari genus Kryptopterus dan Ompok yang menjadi objek penelitian, dilakukan isolasi DNA total dari bagian ototnya. Daerah D-loop region DNA mitokondria dari DNA total akan diamplifikasi dengan primer forward dan reverse menggunakan mesin PCR. Kualitas hasil amplifikasi dapat dilihat pada gel agarose 1,2 % menggunakan mesin elektroforesis. Daerah D-loop region yang teramplifikasi dilakukan perunutan DNAnya dengan mesin perunutan (seqencer) DNA. Hasil runutan yang terdiri dari basa nukleotida DNA mitokondria dianalisis dengan program Mega versi 4,0 untuk mendapatkan data penanda genetik spesifik sebagai DNA barcode masing-masing jenis dan DNA barcode lokasi asalnya berbasis D-loop region.Item ELEKTROFORESIS DNA TOTAL DAN AMPLIFIKASI PCR FRAGMEN GEN COX3 PADA IKAN Kryptopterus limpok (Bleeker 1852) DARI TIGA SUNGAI RAWA BANJIRAN PROVINSI RIAU(2016-01-30) Djalil, Vella Nurazizah; Elvyra, Roza; Roslim, Dewi IndriyaniRiau Province has the typical of floodplain river. Information of molecular barcodes of mitochondrial cytochrome c oxydase subunit 3 (COX3) gene from K. limpok is still unknown. The objective of this research was to obtain the DNA fragment of the mitochondrial COX3 gene K. limpok from Kampar River, Tapung River, and Indragiri Hulu River. Total DNA isolated were taken from the muscle of fish-tail. The total DNA was electrophoresed on 1,2% agarose gel and then visualized using UV transiluminator (WiseUv WUV-M20, Daihan Scientific). PCR amplification was performed using a primer pair of COXIIIF1 (forward) 5’GCT TAG GTT TCA CCA CAA GA3’ and COXIIIR1 (reverse) 5'CGA ACA CAA ATC AGT GGT GTT CT3'. These could influence the provision of fishery resources. However, the Rokan River still has high varieties of fish. One of them is the fish from Cypriniformes. This study aims to list the species of fish from Cypriniformes. Fish samples were collected from fisherman from October 2012 to January 2013. The fish samples were then identified at the Zoological Laboratory of the Biologi Department, University of Riau. In this study, we found 2 families of Cypriniformes, Cyprinidae and Cobitidae. Genetic information on Ompok hypophthalmus is still limited. This research aims to obtain total DNA of O. hypophthalmus and DNA fragment amplified from COX3 gene. Samples of ten O. hypophthalmus, retrieved from a floodplain river, Tapung River, were isolated using the isolation Kit. Purification of DNA has been done using Dneasy Blood and Tissue Kit from Qiagen. Total DNA was amplified using COX3 F1 and COX3 R1 primers which were designed using sequence of COX3 gene from Ictalurus punctatus (Genbank 2002). The result indicated that eight samples of total DNA were successfully isolated from ten of fish samples taken. The genetic information of Ompok eugeneiatus is still limited. This research aims to isolate and amplify Cytochrome c Oxydase sub unit 3 (COX3) gene from Ompok eugeneiatus originated from Kampar River. This study was conducted from November 2014 to April 2015. Cytochrome c Oxydase sub unit 3 gene was amplified using COX3-F1 and COX3-R1 primers which were design from COX3 gene of Ictalurus punctatus (GenBank 2004). PCR condition based on Elvyra and Duryadi (2007) with modification. The result indicated that COX3-F1 and COX3-R1 primers can be used to amplify COX3 gene of Ompok eugeneiatus with size of 642 bp.Item JENIS-JENIS PARASIT PADA I KAN BAUNG (Mystus nemurm) DARI PERAIRAN SUNGAI SIAK, KECAM ATAN RUMBAI PESISIR, PEKANBARU(2013-03-22) Mahatma, Radith; Yusfiati; Elvyra, Roza; TitrawaniPenelitian bertujuan menganalisis pakan pada isi lambung ikan baung, melihat kondisi jaringan pada organ usus ikan baung dan mengidentifikasi parasit (ekto maupun endoparasit) pada ikan baung yang ditemukan di perairan Sungai Siak. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Sampel untuk analisis isi lambung dan endoparasit sebanyak 30 ekor, 5 ekor untuk pengamatan struktur usus ikan baung. Analisis isi lambung dengan Index of Preponderance (IP), endoparasit di usus ikan dan struktur usus dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis isi lambung nilai IP yaitu 95,3% (detritus), 4,0% (udang), 0,5% (kumbang air), dan 0,2% (serasah). Bagian usus mengalami kerusakan yaitu pada tunika mukosa di lapisan epitel nekrosis, lamina propria tunika mukosa menyatu dan pembengkakan, pemendekan vili, vili menyatu, sel epitel menyatu dan penebalan otot polos sirkular. Jumlah sel goblet di usus depan yaitu 34 sel/mm, usus tengah dan belakang 46 sel/mm, luas area sel goblet usus depan ( 0,40%/mm), usus tengah (0,63%/mm) dan usus belakang (0,59%/mm). Jenis parasit yang paling banyak menyerang ikan Baung {M.nemurus C.V.) adalah Trichodina sp, Dactylogyrus sp dan Capillaria sp. Bagian tubuh yang sering diserang adalah insang, sirip, lambung, usus dan anus. Ikan baung yang terinfeksi parasit sebanyak 15 ekor.
