Item INCREASING STUDENT LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENT THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING TYPE STAD ON THE THERMODINAMIC SUBJECT(2014-04-14) Zulhelmi; Irianti, Mitri; AzharThermodinamics” is one of the ‘creative mastery subjects’ offered to the fourth semester students 2010/2011 academic year. There are sixty students joining the class. So far, the students’ grades in learning ‘ Thermodinamics’ have not been satisfactory. The problems to besolved through “lesson study program” is to increase students’ activities during the learning and it will automatically increase students’ achievements through the application of cooperative learning type STAD.Implementation of lesson study designed for four cycles with each cycle follows activity ‘plan’, ‘do’and ‘see’. The activity ‘plan’ is done before lecturing activity and the activity ‘see’ is done after the activity do at the same day. The data about students’ learning activities are collected through observation by four observers. The instrument used is observation sheet for students’ activities. The data of students’ learning activity achievement are collected through written test in the form of essay. The data dealing with students’ learning activity areanalyzed qualitatively, while the data about student achievement are got through the analysis of test. The results of data analysis show that thre is an incrasing in the students ‘activities at every meeting ang the students achievement also increase. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the activity of “lesson study” can increase the quality of learning “Thermodinamics” in Physics Education PMIPA FKIP UR academic year of 2010/2011.Item Pemetaan dan Rancangan Pengembangan Mutu Pendidikan Berbasis Kondisi Lokal di Kabupaten Kampar dan Rokan Hulu Propinsi Riau(2012-10-29) Roza, Yenita; Herdini; Azhar; Suryawati, Evi; Kammaruddin; Suarman; Tugiman; Ellywarti; HermandraMutu pendidikan mencakup dua dimensi yaitu yang berorientasi akademis dan yang berorientasi keterampilan hidup esensial. Prestasi akademis merupakan tolak ukur bagi mutu yang berorientasi akademis sedangkan yang berorientasi keterampilan hidup esensial adalah pendidikan yang membuat anak itu bisa survive di kehidupan nyata. Untuk melihat mutu akademis pemerintah sudah melakukan Ujian Nasional sebagai alat ukur penentu seorang siswa lulus dengan standar nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) Mengungkap peta kompetensi peserta didik; 2) Mengungkap faktor penyebab peserta didik tidak menguasai pokok bahasan tertentu; 3) Menemukan rumusan alternatif pemecahan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi peserta; 4) Merumuskan model implementasi pemecahan masalah. Manusia hidup tidak dapat terlepas dari lingkungannya, untuk itu pada penelitian ini penyelesaian masalah akan dirumuskan berdasarkan potensi lokal penelitian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang akan dilakukan secara kualitatif. Laporan Penelitian Pemetaan dan Pengembangan Mutu Pendidikan (PPMP) ini menyajikan hasil: 1) Data tentang standar kompetensi/kompetensi dasar yang belum dikuasai peserta didik; 2) Faktor-faktor penyebab peserta didik belum menguasai standar kompetensi/kompetensi dasar terutama menyangkut sistem manajemen, guru, sarana dan prasarana pendidikan, dan budaya masyarakat; dan 3) Model peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang valid dan siap diimplementasikan melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Model yang dihasilkan berdasarkan analisis penyebab adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam menyiapkan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran melalui program pendampingan guru (technical assistance) dengan melibatkan guru inti dan pengawas ditingkatnya.Item The Study of Garing Fish Physical Habitat (Tor tambra C.V.: Cyprinidae) in Anai River West Sumatera(2017-11-14) Sukendi, Sukendi; Azhar; Dahelmi; Zakaria, Indra JunaidiGaring fish (Genus Tor) have high economic value. This fish include as the red list of threatened extinction. Thus, their conservations have to keep safe by using conservation and domestication effort. Furthermore, we need deep understanding about the criteria of physical habitat parameter (water depth, water velocity, the type of base substrate and the type of cover). The expectation of this research result is able to give the better picture of physic habitat parameter to every life stage of Garing fish. Hence, the researchers have done a field research toward the fish habitat. The data is analyzed by using PHAB-SIM’s. The result of analysis shows; the appropriate water depth for Garing fish in the life stage of juvenile < 0.50 m, in the life stage of subadult > 0.25 m and in the life stage of adult > 0.50 m; the appropriate water velocity for juvenile stage < 0.76 m/s, subadult stage 0.26-1.00 m/s and adult stage > 0.50 m/s; the appropriate types of base subtract for juvenile stage are sand, pebble and small cobble, for subadult and adult stage are small cobble and big stone in flow, while the appropriate cover types for juvenile, subadult and adult stage are relatively resemble which are no cover, the tree shadow and big stone in flow
