Abstract

Learning model Snowball Throwing is one cooperative learning Strategis can be used for learning activities on any matter, Including material the learning material civics. Learning strategy Snowball Throwing is designed to increase the students activity, so it can improve students learning Result learn especially in subjects civics. Based on research conducted that the learning models Snowball Throwing effect on student result learn. The research problem is “Are There Differences In Civics Education Result Learn Between Students Who Are Taught Using Learning Model Snowball Throwing With Students Who Are Taugh Using the Mentod Learning Conventional On the Class Study Eight at Junior High School Public One Kerinci Kanan, Kerinci Kanan Sub Districts, Siak Districts.” Sample in this research are 40 people students’ taken by purposive sampling. In analyzing the data used Test “t” in which the data taken though pre test and post test on the subject of “the constitution which ever applies in Indonesia”. The result showed that on the subject of “the constitution which ever applies in Indonesian” student learning outcomes given experimental class learning model Snowball Throwing significantly difference from the control class learning outcomes. With at 8,67 and 2,024 and the avarege value of the experimental class is 80,3 an the average value of the control class 59,5. From the results of these research imply difference in outcoms between the experimental class students and control class on The significantly of 95%.
