dc.description.abstractThis article discusses an improvement for the iterative method based on the Ostrowski. Analytically, it is showed using Taylor expansion and geometry series that this iterative method has a convergence sixht-order. Numerical comparison shows that the method converges more quickly to the root of the expected than the comparison methods. This method can be used as an alter- native method to solve nonlinear equations.en_US
