dc.description.abstractDetermination of the optimal time and the angle of solar panel type Poly Crystalline Silicon in generating maximum electrical power by using an experimental method has been carried out. The location of the installation of four solar panels with a series of parallel arrays was at coordinates 000.28.661’ North Latitude - 1010.22.554’ East Longitude. Measurement of the output and the elevation angle of solar panels was made from 07:00 AM until 17:00 PM with an interval of one hour. Measurement of electric power produced by the solar panels during operation was recorded using a Solar Charger when the weather is sunny, cloudy and rainy, while the determination of elevation angle for the solar panel hence the sunlight perpendicular to the surface of the solar panel was using the shadow pen tool. The results show, with averaging electric power produced by four solar panels with a series of parallel arrays from 07:00 AM to 17:00 PM in the interval of one hour for six days, that the maximum electric power by the four solar panel types Poly Crystalline Silicon occurred at 09.00 AM with a large elevation angle formed by the solar panels at 121° and the amount of electric power generated at 14,774 Watt.en_US
