Abstract

reseach has been carried out trough the application of aktive learning model type quiz team in discussion salt hydrolysis purpose of the study to determine the learning achviement of students on the material chemistry of salt hydrolysis in class XI science SMA Muhammadiyah Bangkinang. Type of reseach is experimental reseach with pretest-posttest design. Data colection time in june 2012. Sample consisted of two class, namely class XI IPA 1 as experimental class and class IPA 2 as the control class. Experimentalclass given the type of treatment strategy quiz team. Hypotesis testing using t- test of the parties, based on the result t-value 2,25 > t-table 1,67 of the price obtained t (2,25 > 1,67) means the applicattion of active learning strategies type quiz twam can inprove atudent achivement hydrolysis of salt on the subject in class XI science SMA Muhammadiyah Bangkinang. Magnitude increase in learning achievement 11,4%
