dc.description.abstractA research on the application of the learning model type Three Stay One Stray has been conducted by purpose of increasing students achievement in learning atomic structure and system periodic of element at grade X class of SMAN 1 Tambang. The pretest-posttest experiment group design was used in this research. Research have done in 18 July until 9 September 2011 at grade X of SMAN 1 Tambang. Instrument of aggregation data was use homogeneity test and test pretest-posttest. Data was analyzed with t-test at α=0,05. Result showed that the t value was 2,12 while t-table was 1,67. Therefore, it could be concluded that the application of the learning model type Three Stay One Stray with was able to increase students learning achievement in atomic structure and system periodic of element discussion at X class of SMAN 1 Tambang. The learning model typeThree Stay One Stray can improve students because they are all active in learning like group discussion and presentation in class.en_US
