dc.description.abstract | UPAYA MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI PENGGUNAAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA (LKS) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS DI KELAS VIII MTs ANNUR DESA HANGTUAH KECAMATAN PERHENTIAN RAJA Nur Rochmah Aini Dibawah Bimbingan : Almasdi Syahza Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan – Universitas Riau Jl. Bina Widya KM 12,5 Pekanbaru ABSTRACT To make the students’ learning process better, we need some components, these are the good strategy in teaching, the good method teacher uses and the students’ activity in learning process. According to the writer, the eighth grade students of MTs ANNUR Hangtuah (they are twenty one students) in lerning process are not active enough. The students tend to be passive while studying in the class. This condition, absolutely influence the students’ value. The low students’ activities are caused by teacher ability in using learning method. He or she uses the monologue method in teaching. One of the ways, according to the writer, to make students more active in learning process is by using wrok sheet (LKS). The purpose of this study was make the eighth students of MTs ANNUR more active in lerning process, especially in learning IPS subject by using work sheet. The method used in this research was experiment research, where, it was done by descriptive. It means the writer describes the students’ activities before and after using the work sheet. The data colection of the students’ activities was using observation sheet. The result of research the writer got : before using wrok sheet, the students got scores 77 (36,66%), categorized low. After using work sheet in the first experiment, the students are more active with the high enough category, they got score 152 (75,23%) and in the second experiment got score 190 (89,99% ) with very high category. By increasing the activities of the students, cearly, the result or mark of the students increase to. Because of this reason, if the teacher wants to increase the mark or score of the students, he or she has to increase the activities of the students, and on the way, is by using work sheet in learning process. | en_US |
