| dc.description.abstract | The observation of this research is about the language of code mixing which exists in the lyrics of Cinta Laura‟s song. The purposes of this research are to identify the types of code mixing in the lyrics of Cinta Laura‟s song, to identify the kinds of code mixing which is used in the lyrics of Cinta Laura‟s song, and also to describe the source language of code mixing in the lyrics of Cinta Laura‟s song. Analyzing the types and kinds of code mixing in the lyrics of Cinta Laura‟s song, the researcher uses code mixing theory which is referred to Suwito‟s opinion. The method that is used in this research is descriptive method which has characteristics to collect, to manage data, and to analyze when the research still in process. The conclusion from this research is about the types of code mixing in the lyrics of Cinta Laura‟s song itself, such as the insertion of word, phrase, and clause. Code mixing that is classified to the word in the lyrics of Cinta Laura‟s song is about 31 data. Code mixing that is classified to the phrase in the lyrics of Cinta Laura‟s song is about 6 data. Code mixing that is classified to the clause in the lyrics of Cinta Laura‟s song is about 12 data. The kinds of code mixing that is used in the lyrics of Cinta Laura‟s song are inner code mixing and outer code mixing. Inner code mixing that is used in the lyrics of Cinta Laura‟s song is about 24 data, while outer code mixing is about 22 data. The sources language in the lyrics of Cinta Laura‟s song comes from English, Malay language, Batavia language, and Java language. The source language of code mixing that comes from English is about 21 data, Batavia language is about 20 data, Malay language is about 3 data, and Java language is about 1 data. From the research finding, it is suggested to the other researchers in order to observe code mixing that occurs in the larger area and the research also can be developed by using the changing code theory which has strong relation with the changing code itself. | en_US |
