PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE PEER LESSONS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA POKOK BAHASAN REAKSI OKSIDASI DAN REDUKSI DI KELAS X SMA AL-HUDA PEKANBARU Muhammad Endi, Maria Erna, and Armiyus Thaib Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Riau ABSTRAK Strategies peer type lessons have been applied to improve student achievement on the subject of oxidation and reduction in class X SMA Al-Huda Pekanbaru. Through the Peer Lessons students practice developing skills in expressing their understanding of what they have learned to others in order to obtain a sense of responsibility placed in him. This study aims to determine the increase in student achievement on the subject of Oxidation Reduction Reaction through the implementation of active learning strategies peer type lessons. This type of research is experimental research. The samples in this study were students of class X-4 as the experimental class and class X-1 as a control class. Instrument research is about pretest and posttest to see an increase in student achievement used in research methods. Data analysis technique used is to test the technique using data obtained from the test value and the value homogeneity hypothesis testing. The results showed that the application of active learning strategies peer type lessons to improve student achievement in the subject Oxidation Reduction Reactions in class X SMA Al-Huda Pekanbaru at 16.36%.
