Abstract
Groundwater identification in Gean De Green Housing, Rimba Panjang Village, has
been carried out using geochemical and geoelectric methods of the Wenner-
Schlumberger configuration. This study aims to identify aquifer layers, determine
flow patterns and test the quality of groundwater. Measurements were made on two
tracks with a length of 115 meters for each track. Based on the results of data
processing, it is known that the groundwater aquifer is at a depth of up to 9,26 meters
below the surface with a resistivity value (6,92 – 48,3) Ωm. It spreads from North to
South and from East to West with a thickness of 8,01 meters. The lithology of the
subsurface layers in the study area is a layer of sand and gravel, dry gravel, and
sandstone. Testing the quality of groundwater in terms of pH parameters obtained an
average value of 4,3 and iron metal content of 0,1774 mg/L. Overall, the results of
the water quality test in the area of this study are not suitable for consumption
because it is too acidic, but still safe and suitable for other purposes
