dc.description.abstractThis article discusses the application of the Varignon's theorem to the parallelo- hexagon by connecting the midpoints of the two sides which are close to the mid- point of the two sides in front of them, so that they form a rectangle in the parallelo- hexagon. The proof is described in three alternatives, using the concept of congru- ence, geometrical transformation, and using parallelo-hexagon and parallelogram point vertices. This article is a modi cation of the Varignon's theorem applied to parallelo-hexagon from article of Villiers [The Mathematics Gazette, 96 (2012), 309-315]en_US
