Abstract
The research background is People's Perception About The Existence Of The Phenomenon Of Students In RT03/RW03 Panam Simpang Baru Tampan Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the response to the presence of students and how the impact of the presence of students around the RT03/RW03 environment. This study aims to determine the response to the presence of students and the impact of the presence of students around the neighborhood. Indicators used to answer the problem formulation, the writer adopted the theory that Robin and Basrowi says people's perceptions can be measured through attitudes, interests, experiences, expectations and the impact of the presence of students containing positive or negative. Places of research conducted at RT03/RW03 Panam Simpang Baru Pekanbaru by the number of heads of household 50 families, each household to fill a questionnaire. This study uses descriptive. As the primary data source is the information gathered through questionnaires and secondary data obtained through documents and books relevant to the study. The data were analyzed qualitatively in tabular form. The results showed that the community response to the presence of students in the RT03/RW03 Panam is in the category of Good enough that is equal to 48%, while the impact of the presence of students in the surrounding communities RT03/RW03 Panam is in the category of Good enough that is equal to 47%. It can be concluded that the response to the presence of students in the RT03/RW03 Panam is Good, while the community response at the environmental impact of the presence of students in RT03/RW03 Panam is Positive.
