Abstract
This article discusses the variant of Halley's method free from second derivative,
modi ed from a combination of Newton's method and Halley's method. This new
method has six order of convergence. Furthermore, from computational test it shows
that the discussed method is better than the Newton's method, Halley's method and
Noor's method when seen from the number of iterations to obtain an approximated
root of test fuctions.
