ABSTRACT
The research had been grounded bya decrease of student learning outcomes. It determined thesuccess orfailure ofthe end in teaching learning process. The formulation of the problemwas whether there has significanteffect of usingtipe ofarticulationlearning toward students’ learning outcome in civicseducation at the seventh year of junior high school of integratedIslamal-Bayyinah Pekanbaru. Tipe ofArticulationLearningis tipe of learning shaped in pairs of thebenchwhichone of the studentsdeliveredthe material receivedto thepartnerand presentin front ofthe class(Suyatno, 2009:70).
The Result of the research shows that the average pretest of class as treatment classthevalue was67.39and pretest of class as control classwas67.39. Afterthe treatment was applied theaverage posttest ofclassto be82.61and77.69forthe control class. Then evaluatedwith the results ofthe test statistictis obtained score 3.27. After compared with5%=n1+n2dk. The value of is2.021. Thus, comparing between thestudents’ learning outcomesinthe experimental class in Civics education is higher than the control class. It was caused bythe application ofthe tipe of the learningdescribingthe meaning ofthe independence proclamation and the first constitution.
