dc.description.abstract | In this paper, a new iterative method for solving a nonlinear equation is derived. Using Taylor expansion and geometry series, it is shown that the method has a third-order of convergence. Numerical comparisons show that this method can be used as an alternative method for solving a nonlinear equation. | en_US |
