Abstract
School is an educational institution is a place to print human resources. The progress of
a school can not be separated from the role of the school principal as the supreme
leader at the school. The school principal has the responsibility to deliver the objectives
for the school. The realization of school goals must be based on the principal's
commitment to the organization. One attempt was made to encourage the growth of the
principal organizational commitment is to create good governance and improve job
satisfaction. This study aims to whether good governance and job satisfaction has an
influence on organizational commitment on the principal medium / equivalent in
Indragiri Hulu. The research was carried out to 24 school principals with the sampling
technique using two methods stack sampling. From the results of research conducted by
multiple linear regression technique partially aware that good governance does not
affect the principal organizational commitment. This is due to the good governance does
not motivate principals to increase the commitment to the school. On the other hand,
affects job satisfaction organizational commitment principals. This is because all the
good facilities and associated school principal relationship with all that is within the
school has been going well, so that principals feel happy and proud to do their works at
the school. Good governance and simultaneously influence job satisfaction
organizational commitment.
