dc.description.abstractThis article discusses a class of nonlinear trapezoidal method based on the harmonic, contraharmonic, heronian, square root and centroidal mean to solve an initial value problem. The discussion includes the way to derive the formula and applying Taylor expansion to obtain the error of the methods. Computational tests using an example support the analytical results.en_US
