dc.description.abstractThis paper discusses the solution of transshipment problem using the simplex method of transportation. This discussion aims to determine the optimal solution of the transshipment problem by taking into account the freight cost coefficient. The initial process of solving this problem by illustrating how to change the form of fuzzy numbers into strict number forms using the robust ranking function, then to find the initial basis using the Vogel approximation method, then using the simplex transportation method to test the initial basis, to obtain optimal results. So it can be concluded that the unit of sending goods from one source to another using the simplex transportation method is the optimal solution to find the minimum value of the transshipment problem.en_US
