Abstract
The research was conducted for 56 days from April to June 2012. The aim of this research was to find out respons of baung (Mystus nemurus) fingerling on rubber seed fermentations. The methods used in this study was an experimental method and RAL one factor with stocking density 5 treatments. The baung fish used in this research with size 3-5 cm in length and 1,32 - 1,34 g in weight. Fish were reared in 1x1x1 m in cages with stocking density 20/m3. Feeding trials were replacing soybean meal with rubber seed fermentation applied to 25, 50, 75 and 100% for 30% food protein.
Result showed that fermentation of rubber seed gave very significant effect (P<0,05) on growth, feed efficiency, and protein retentions. Replacement 75% of rubber seed fermentation is the best respons, produce the highest growth 2.98%, feed efficiency 33.45%, and 33.64% protein retention respectively.
