Abstract
This research was conducted because of many violations and
naughtiness of the second year students of SMPN 21 Pekanbaru. Many
informationfrom Religious teacher, PKn teacher and BK teacher told that
many students that have bad attitude and low respectful to their teachers and
their friends. Even the researcher directly doing practice teaching in that
school. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of moral
value of the second year students of SMPN 21 Pekanbaru and to know its
supporting factor and obstacle factor. This research is a quantitative
descriptive research. The population of this research is 387 students (all of the
second year students) the researcher takes 10 % as the sample, so the sample
of this research is 40 students and 2 subject teachers. The data was taken by
questionnaire, observation, and interview technique. In collecting the data
from questionnaire that was given to the respondents in percentage form
using formula: P = F/N x 100% (Suharsimi Arikunto, 1992:33). From the
findings of this research, the researcher got data that the implementation of
moral value of the second year students of SMPN 21 Pekanbaru is often =
62.98%, sometimes = 32,96%, and never = 4.05%. On the other hand, from
the interview to the teacher, the researcher concluded that the implementation
of moral value was often given in the process of learning and establishment
time on Saturday. There are many obstacle factors that were felt by the
teacher. However, the teachers were good enough in telling moral value to be
applied in the school environment by giving slogan 3S (smiling, greeting,
regarding). So, the implementation of moral value of the second year students
of SMPN 21 Pekanbaru was good enough with their percentage of 62,98%
according to Sutrisno Hadi’ opinion, so the hypothesis was rejected.
