dc.description.abstractThis article discusses the two-step iterative method derived following the pattern in obtaining the iterative method proposed by Ujevic [Appl. Math. Comput. 174 (2006): 1416-1426.]. Analytically using xed point iteration, it is shown that the proposed method converges to the root of nonlinear equations. Then numerical sim- ulations show that the proposed method is comparable to methods Ujevic's method and better than Newton's method.en_US
