Abstract
Gas parametrics such as concentration, temperature, humidity, and wind speed
were observed to determine the accumulation of NO and NO2 in Kulim, Sukajadi and
Tampan sites Pekanbaru city using data interpretation method. Concentration of NO and
NO2 has been measured by Nitrogen Oxide Analyzer 360 series at Laboratorium Udara
Kota Pekanbaru. The observed data is daily data at period from January 2010 to
December 2012 and then monthly average data is generated from the daily data. From
the data measured, it was shown the monthly concentration of NO and NO2 are different
in each month. The lowest NO concentration is located in Kulim sites at 2,43 μg/m3 in
2012 and the highest concentration is located in Sukajadi site at 55,51 μg/m3 in 2010.
The lowest concentration of NO2 is located in Tampan site at 3,99 μg/m3 in 2010 and
the highest concentration is located in Sukajadi site at 92,99 μg/m3 in 2010.
Concentration of NO and NO2 are influenced by temperature, air humidity and wind
speed. High temperature, low humidity and high wind speed cause concentrations of
NO and NO2 decreased, while low temperature, high humidity and low wind speed
cause the increment of concentration.
