dc.description.abstract |
This article discusses the numerical method to solve a nonlinear Volterra-Fredholm
integral equation using a New Basis function obtained through a set of Block-Pulse
functions (BPFs). The Use of the New Basis function produces a system of linear
equations and the solution of this system is the solution for the nonlinear Volterra-
Fredholm integral equation. Through two examples, it is seen that the discussed
method provides close enough solutions to the exact solutions |
