dc.description.abstract Residential air conditioning is the wide option used to get the cool and comfortable in house. Improvement usage of AC caused by the good recovery of economics and the good range of price AC for residential achieved, especially for the family form middle to up level. Escalation usage of AC in the residental caused by increase the environmental air temperature heat as effect of climate chage (global warming). Usage of AC for house or residential, so that most expense of electricity 45%-66% from tatalizing usage of electricity for house or residential, so tha most expense of electricity invoice used to pay for the freshness wich obtainable. Usage of encapsulated ice thermal energy storage at residential AC system can economize the use of electricity 20%-60%, this matter because the using compressor most replaced by pump to distribute the chilled fluid. Electricity cost-saving also can be improved with the use of hydrocarbon refrigerant as substitution of R22 refrigerant, wich can economize the usage of electricity 10%-20%. Can conluded that usage of encapsulated ice termal energy storage at residential air conditioning of vapor compression refrigeranttion machine with hydrocarbon refrigerant as substitution R-22 refrigerant can cost economize that required to get the comfortable room to various use condition en_US
