Abstract
Problems in learning in students is less passionate about mathematics, resulting in students' mathematics learning outcomes to be low. This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes via Problem Based Instruction model application. Data obtained from quantitative data with the formulation of the problem "What is Problem Based Instruction model application can improve learning outcomes B math student fourth grade elementary school 67 Pekanbaru?. Quantitative data such as test student understanding through the end of the cycle repeats. The mean score on the basis of 66.52, the average cycle increased to 86.09, and on the second cycle increased to 88.15. On the basis of classical completeness score of students was 36.36%, the first cycle of classical completeness students increased 39.4 points from the base score is 75.76% and the second cycle increased 18.19 points from the first cycle is 93.95. besides an increase in the activities of teachers and students from cycle I to cycle II, all teachers in the first cycle increased 7.5 points from the second cycle of 75% increased 82.5%, and increased student activity 13.89 points from the first cycle ie 69.44% increase in cycle II 83.33%. From the results of this study concluded that the implementation of Problem Based Instruction models can improve learning outcomes B math student fourth grade elementary school 67 Pekanbaru. |
