Abstract
Problems in this study is the low learning outcomes of students in science subjects class IV A SDN 42 Pekanbaru. Purpose of this research is to improve students learning outcomes in science subjects class IVA SDN 42 Pekanbaru through guided inquiry learning model application. Formulation of the problem of this study is whether the application of guided inquiry learning model can improve students learning outcomes in science subjects class IV A SDN 42 Pekanbaru?. Hypothesis of this study is that if implemented guided inquiry learning model that can improve students learning outcomes in science subjects class IV A SDN 42 Pekanbaru. Presented in this thesis the average increase in the percentage of all teachers in the first cycle is 67.5% and 72.5% with an increase of 5%. Has increased in the second cycle of 80% and 92.5% with an increase of 12.5%. Students activity in the first cycle is 66.66% and 75% with a 8.34% increase on the rise in the second cycle is 83.33% and 95.85% with an increase of 12.52%. Then improving student learning outcomes from the base score to the first cycle, from an average of 60 to 72 with an increase of 12 points and an increase in student learning from the first cycle to the second cycle of the average 72 to 81 with an increase of 9 points. Based on the results of this study concluded that the hypothesis is accepted.
