dc.description.abstract Have been done research of lubricating oil waste which it is refined to form fuel as alternative energy. The result of survey in field it is found three kinds of samples. They are waste of synthetic, mineral and mixture lubricating oil. This waste was refined by means of series of processes for producing an output of fuel. Those processes were dewatering, adsorption, absorption, filter and distillation with using one tube as well as test of emission characteristic of released gas. The result obtained indicates that sample I of synthetic lubricating oil waste has a source from the formal repair shop with physics properties before processed : density 0.8464 gr/ cm^ viscosity 4089.88 gr/cm.det. The result of distillation temperature 350 °C (2 hour) is obtained with sample volume a few of oil drops. This production of distillation volume is not enough for measuring viscosity, burning specific heat capacity and test of emission characteristic of released gas. Sample II of waste of mineral lubricating oil has a source from formal repair shop with physics properties before processed : density 0.8642 gr/cm^ viscosity 2118.08 gr/cm sec. The production of distillation for volume 1 litter at temperature 350 °C (2 hour) with heating vapor resulted in volume 30 drops of oil. The measuring of physics properties were obtained : density 0.76 g/cm^, viscosity 192.035 gr/cm sec and burning specific heat capacity 4.47x10" kJ/kg. The result of the emission characteristic test of released gas in burning at temperature 372 °C resulted in power of emission 453.3 watt with occurring carbonization process faster and amount of carbon volume a little. Sample III is waste of mixture lubricating oil from formal repair shop with physics properties before processed : density 0.85 gr/cm^ viscosity 3421.43 gr/cm.det. The production of distillation for volume 1 litter at temperature 350 °C (2 hour) with heating vapor resulted in volume 10 drops of oil. The measuring of physics properties were obtained : density 0.76 g/cm', viscosity 240 gr/cm sec and burning specific heat capacity 4.3x10" kJ/kg. The result of the emission characteristic test of released gas in burning at temperature 372 °C resulted in power of emission 487.7 watt with occuning carbonization process slowly and much of carbon volume. From three samples, sample II approaches to standard of fuel with viscosity 190.251 gr/cm sec and burning specific heat capacity 4.5x10" kJ/kg. en_US
