Abstract:
Based on the research that has been conducted through two cycles, the first meeting of the
first cycle of the average activity of 89.29% of teachers either category, the second
meeting of the first cycle to 92.86% excellent category. At the first meeting of the second
cycle to 96.43% both categories at once and meeting 2 second cycle remained 96.43%
excellent category. At the first meeting of the first cycle an average of 85.71% of student
activity categories. In the second meeting of the first cycle to 89.29% good category. At
the first meeting of the second cycle being 92.86% and the excellent category second
cycle of meetings has increased 96.43% which is excellent category. IPS student mastery
of learning outcomes based on the daily tests first cycle was 76.66%. In the second cycle
to be 93.33%. These data indicate that the application of Inquiry Learning Model to
Improve Student Learning Outcomes IPS of fourth grade’s tudent in SDS IT Mutiara
Kecamatan Pingggir Kabupaten Bengkalis.
