Abstract:
This study aims to improve learning outcomes IPS Fourth Grade Students of SD Negeri
26 Titian Antui through Application of Cooperative Learning Model Type NHT. By
using the action research. Done in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings, as
well as two replications end of the cycle. Results can be seen from the data analysis
activities of teachers during the learning process with Cooperative Learning Model
Application Type NHT in the first cycle with average 75% to good category. While in the
second cycle increased to 94% with very good category. Activities with the students
during the learning process Implementation of Cooperative Learning Model NHT type in
the first cycle with an average of 66% with either category. On the basis of classical
completeness score is 50% while the classical completeness after the action was 83.33%.
The average score of student learning outcomes on the basis of which 62.50% whereas in
the first cycle increased to 64 with a percentage increase of 2.4% in the second cycle
average 71.2 student learning outcomes so students increased from baseline score to
second cycle was 13.92%. From the above shows that the application of Cooperative
Learning Model Type NHT can improve learning outcomes fourth grade students in SD
Negeri 26 Titian Antui. Academic Year 2012-2013.
