Penggunaan Media CD Pembelajaran Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas IVB SDN 74 Pekanbaru

Abstract

This study aims to improve science learning outcomes of students through the use of learning with CD in grade four of B at SDN 74 Pekanbaru in school year 2012/2013. The research was conducted in March-April 2013, with 36 students, 17 male students and 19 female students. The study design was a classroom action research conducted in three cycles consisting of four stages each cycle, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The measured parameters were the teachers of activities, student activities and students learning outcomes. Science study results obtained from the initial data was 61.81. After using learning with CD research that students learning outcomes in the first cycle with an average 65.83. There was an increase about 6.50% the previous result. In the second cycle the average science achievement at 71, 53, there was an increase from cycle I to cycle II about 8.66%. The use of learning media with CD Cycle III also increased into 74.72, it increased from cycle I to cycle II about 4.46%. Teacher activity and if was also increased from 75% in the first cycle to 86.25% in the second cycle, an increase from the previous activity with a difference of 11, 25%. In the third cycle teachers activity was 91.25%, and it was increase from the second cycle to third cycle by a margin of 5%. Student Activity in the first cycle 70%, increased in cycle II into 81.2. In the third cycle students activity was 86.25%, an increase from the second cycle to third cycle by a margin of 5%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the learning CD can improve science learning outcomes in grade four of B class at SDN 74 Pekanbaru.
